“Wine, Winemaking & Viticulture - A Thriving Industry on the Mornington Peninsula”

The wine industry offers great opportunities for employment and rewarding careers.  Mornington Peninsula Wine is supporting carving education and careers pathways with a number of our member wineries alongside careers experts to connect schools and colleges to help students understand what an amazing industry this is and what options are available, right here on our doorstep.

There is inherent crossover between viticulture and winemaking, which to master need a good deal of education and hands-on training. Work experience is a great way for someone to test out the industry to see if this is something that they want to pursue and there are also opportunities for structured workplace learning placement supporting VET Certificates in Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking.
